Liu Zhen is the son of a multi-millionaire in Taiwan. Rejecting the heir to their family's company, he decided to form a band named N.E.X.T instead which he was the lead vocalist but after some time he left and began a solo career. He eventually entered the fashion industry becoming a model and having his own line of clothes the "Oriental Passion". He flew to Japan to try his luck in promoting his clothing line and later he became part of Mix Media Ent. as a music producer and manager.
He had a bad and at the same time funny past with Core Music Industry's pop icon Kei'ian leading to a rivalry.

In all honesty, I don't even know what they're fighting about in the first place roflol!! -shot- I just think that they make pretty good rivals and it would atleast add a little something to the story. Wooh! Liu Zhen-sama! You're the greatest!!
